Rachel Hess, ND, is a naturopathic physician, bodyworker and birthkeeper with a passion for assisting others in their healing. Rachel has been working in the birthing world for the last 22 years, assisting couples to create healthy babies and healthy homes.  She has dedicated her life to assisting those on this journey of parenthood to live their best lives. Rachel feels her approach to healing is a culmination of all of her education and life experiences. She feels strongly called to assist in the healing of the Earth, by healing Birth, by assisting souls to enter this world in a loving, peaceful and gentle way.

Rachel earned her B.S. in exercise science from the University of WI-Madison, received her massage training from the Oregon School of Massage and her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (now NUNM). She has training in craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute.  She has worked as a primary care physician focusing on family medicine and therapeutic bodywork, a homebirth midwife and doula.

She has consciously birthed three beautiful children at home, her last two unassisted. When she met her husband, she was gifted with two more daughters to raise. Her five children have been some of her greatest teachers and biggest joys in her life.

About: About

My Vision for Crimsonspiral Wellness

I am a mother, wife, educator, naturopathic physician, lifelong learner and seeker of universal wisdoms. My purpose is to be the best version of myself so that I may assist you to be the best version of yourself.

In creating Crimsonspiral Wellness, my mission was to educate and empower women in accessing their innate wisdom, which makes it possible for them to create healthy babies and healthy homes.

I believe that the healing process is unique for each person, as are the gifts that we are here to share. I assist my clients on the path within, assisting them in connecting with their own healing nature, the Divine Love that resides within each of us.

I believe that true healing occurs when we are willing to walk the path within, full of compassion and love for ourselves and others, taking full responsibility for our own health and well-being, and in awareness of how every choice we make ripples out to impact the Earth and the lives of others.

I see you. I hear you. Thank you for Being.
